Design Bookmark Cards With MyListing Toolkit for Elementor Pro

By default, the MyListing Bookmarks have a pretty basic design.

This guide will teach you how to give MyListing Bookmarks the same design and functionality as the Listing Preview Cards.

Implementation

  1. Login into your yellowwave account dashboard.
  2. Downloads > Click the ‘Download’ link.
  3. Licenses > Copy your ‘Product Order API Key’.
  4. Install and activate the MyListing Elementor Toolkit Pro plugin.
  5. Install and active the base/free version of MyListing Elementor Toolkit, when prompted.
  6. WordPress Dashboard > Settings > MyListing Elementor Toolkit
  7. MyListing Elementor Toolkit Settings > Design bookmarks account section using Elementor > Check the box.
  8. Save changes.
  9. MyListing Elementor Toolkit Pro API Key Activation > Paste in your API Key.
  10. Save changes.

Bookmarks Template

  1. WordPress Dashboard > Templates > Add New
  2. Template Type > Section
  3. Select a Location > MyListing Account Bookmarks
  4. Template Name > Enter your desired name (e.g. MyListing Bookmarks)
  1. Click ‘Create Template’.
  2. Close the Elementor Template Library that pops up.
  3. From the Elementor widget panel, do a search for ‘Feed’.
  4. Drag the ‘Toolkit > Listing Feed (Related Listings)’ widget into your template.
  5. Find Listings Using > Bookmarks of the user.
  1. Number of items to show > Clear out the value. (Note: We want to clear this out so users aren’t limited to the number of Bookmarks they can show in their account.)
  2. Click ‘Publish’.
  3. Click ‘Add Condition’.
  4. Change ‘Entire Site’ to ‘Singular’.
  5. Change ‘All Singular’ to ‘MyListing Account’.
  6. Save changes.
  7. From the front end of your website, bookmark a number of Listings.

At this point, if you were to visit the Bookmarks area of your account, you likely won’t see the Listings you just Bookmarked. This is because of the ‘Cache Results’ setting in the Listing Feed widget.

You can wait the approximate 720 minutes and refresh to see your Bookmarks, or you can immediately see your results by temporarily changing the value of 720 to 0 and saving your changes to the template.

Once you see your Bookmarks, jump back into your template and put the cache settings back at 720 or to a different value if desired. Just know that the cache value is important for performance.

Okay, that’s pretty much all there is to it. Your users should now be viewing Bookmarks that look just like your Listing Feeds.
