Your MyListing website will run in a highly secure environment (see Highly-Secure Network), but if your site is compromised, it will be fixed for no additional cost.
If your website is found to have been hacked and/or malware found, during our normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST), we will immediately begin work to cleans things up.
If the cleanup process proves to be too difficult, we will work with you to determine the best restore point, to limit the risk of losing data such as previously-placed WooCommerce orders.
Should your website get compromised during our non-business hours, Kinsta is available to you.

Emergency WordPress Updates
These are WordPress updates that can be released at a moment’s notice to fix security or major functionality issues.
It’s super important to apply these updates in a timely fashion, so we’ve included the application of these updates in every care plan.
Updating the MyListing theme is a highly-sensitive task, due to the vast number of changes that can be included in an update, not to mention all the things that can break.
We will only apply updates to MyListing when you request it or when you give us ongoing permission to apply updates as they become available.
Note: Due to the sheer number of moving parts that some themes have, you will be ultimately responsible for testing all theme-related functionality of your website after updates are applied.
While we recommend to first update MyListing in your staging environment, we will update the theme per your direction.
Content Delivery Network (CDN) solutions provide visitors with a faster browsing experience, as website data is placed closer to their location.
While this is especially important for clients that have users all over the globe, performance gains can still be seen for more of a localized user base.
CDNs are potentially a huge win for website owners, especially for those that on website hosting with low bandwidth and disk space allowances.
This is because CDNs reduce the need for users to request data directly from the server itself.
Depending on the CDN solution, there are additional benefits for website owners, such as multi-layer security, performance optimization elements, email address protection, country blocking, and more.
We recommend Cloudflare (FREE) as your CDN solution for MyListing websites.
While we don’t recommend or allow Kinsta’s CDN as part of our Kinsta hosting, you are welcome to bring your own CDN solution into your environment and we’ll support it.

Full backups of your website are automatically taken on a daily basis and can be managed from your Kinsta dashboard.
From your Kinsta dashboard, you also have the option of creating on-demand backups, downloadable backups, etc.
In addition to having server-based backups, it’s important to have backups that live elsewhere for redundancy.
While unlikely to be needed, these monthly backups give your website one more extra recovery point so that you never have a single point of failure when it comes to backing up your data.
SSL certificates are critical for maintaining website security and they should be considered a requirement for any website.
Any website that allows online payments (e.g. online stores), requires a valid SSL certificate to be installed.
Also, without a valid certificate, Google will show a website as being non-secure, regardless of whether it allows online payments.

Every month we run a report to see how your website is generally performing and we will make changes, within reason and with the tools/solutions currently available to us, to address any issues that we find.
What we shoot for is to have your website’s Home page loading the critical content in under 3 seconds, while not producing any errors or breaking things.
Typically, we can load your pages well under the 3-second mark.
While we will do our best, please note that website optimization is very time-consuming if done correctly, and to fully-optimize, every aspect of a MyListing website typically requires support time outside of the care plans.

A deep scan of all site files occurs during the migration process and if it is determined that your site is infected, the migration will be paused and there are two options.
- Proceed with the migration, have Kinsta remove the infection, and a $100 malware removal fee will apply.
- Cancel the migration, work with a third-party to repair the hacked site in the prior hosting environment or repair it yourself, and then reschedule the migration.
Your MyListing website will run in a highly secure environment (see Highly-Secure Network), but if your site is compromised, it will be fixed for no additional cost.

Nothing will stop working and you will get to keep your Premium Assets, but you will no longer receive updates or support for those assets.
