Download, install, and activate the plugin.

No, by default, it only shows up when the description exceeds 300 pixels. The setting can be easily adjusted as covered in the next question of these FAQs.

Most MyListing websites won’t need to adjust the height, but if you do wish to make changes, you can follow the easy instructions below.

  1. Browse to the /wp-content/plugins/listings-read-more/snippets/ directory on your server.
  2. Edit the listings_read_more_inline_js.php file and adjust the height value (300) on Line 10.
  3. Save changes.

Most MyListing websites won’t need to adjust the styling, but if you do wish to make changes, you can simply apply CSS to the toggle.

Yes, this add-on is currently built to only work with MyListing’s ‘Description’ field. However, the code can easily be adapted for other text-based fields if you’re comfortable with code or if you ask a developer for assistance.
