Updates are constantly being released for the various solutions that power your website. I test and apply these updates according to best practices.

• Security updates are applied immediately.
• Non-security updates are tested and applied when it’s safe to do so.
• Staging environments are used when deemed necessary.

MyListing Theme Updates

Updating the MyListing theme can be a sensitive task due to the many changes that can be included in an update, not to mention all the things that can break. As such, my approach is outlined below.

• Major Updates: These are typically (but not always) .0 releases (e.g., 2.6.0) that include significant changes to the theme. Applying major updates requires coordination between me and your team to ensure a successful rollout.
• Minor Updates: These are typically (but not always) .x releases (e.g., 2.6.1) that include minor changes to the theme. I apply these updates automatically unless something in the update requires coordination between me and your team.
