Updates are constantly being released for the various solutions that power your website. I test and apply these updates according to best practices.
- Security updates are applied immediately.
- Non-security updates are tested and applied when it’s safe to do so.
- Staging environments are used when deemed necessary.
MyListing Theme Updates
Updating the MyListing theme can be a sensitive task due to the many changes that can be included in an update, not to mention all the things that can break. As such, my approach is outlined below.
- Major Updates: These are typically (but not always) .0 releases (e.g., 2.6.0) that include significant changes to the theme. Applying major updates requires coordination between me and your team to ensure a successful rollout.
- Minor Updates: These are typically (but not always) .x releases (e.g., 2.6.1) that include minor changes to the theme. I apply these updates automatically unless something in the update requires coordination between me and your team.
Threat Management

If your website is hacked or infected with malware, everything will be fixed at no extra cost. While I’ve never had a website under my management get hacked or infected, it’s great to have this peace of mind.

Can I Use My Own Web Hosting?
Award-winning hosting is included, providing enterprise-level performance and support at no extra cost. I know this hosting solution inside and out, allowing me to deliver lightning-fast and highly secure websites.
If you want to use your hosting, that’s fine, but there might be an extra charge if managing your infrastructure (CDN, Hosting Account, Server, DNS, etc.) is troublesome.
Will I Own and Have Full Admin Access to Everything?
Can I Switch to Hosting Only?
Yes, you can switch to our Kinsta Hosting plan.
- Log into your account.
- Click on the ‘Subscriptions’ tab.
- Click ‘Switch Plan.’
What Happens if I Cancel Entirely?
If you don’t wish to keep your website, you can cancel your Website Care subscription, and I will delete it.
If you want to keep your site, we can keep it on our Kinsta Hosting plan or move it to your host.
IMPORTANT: If you’re migrating to your hosting, do that BEFORE you cancel to avoid having your website deleted.
What Happens To The Premium Solutions If I Cancel?
Nothing will stop working, and you will keep the premium solutions.
However, if you’re no longer my client, you’ll need to purchase licensing to continue receiving updates and support from the vendor. You can use the Club’s Exclusive Deals to purchase licenses from the vendor to avoid paying full prices.
Does the Small Task Allowance Roll Over Each Month?
No, but there has never been an instance where clients needed more than their plan allowed.
Do You Offer Custom Development?
You’ll gain exclusive access to our Custom Development service.
Do You Help With Importing Data?
You’ll gain exclusive access to our Export/Import service.
If you want to try exporting/importing your data on your own, I’ll provide you with the plugins needed for no extra cost.
Do You Help With Policies (Privacy, Terms & Conditions, etc.)?
If you already have policies, I’ll help you add them to your website.
If you don’t already have policies, you need them, and I recommend the peace of mind that Termageddon gives.
